Day 1: Friday 28 Dec 2007

Alhamdulillah!! We made it!! Jalan2 to Edinburgh Scotland for 3 days 2 nights! A 264 miles by driving..about 5 -6 hours journey....but, we took almost 6 1/2 hours bcause of sight seeing ...mkn angin kann....hehehe!

Reached Jetburgh 1/2 hour later...even the day is getting darker but we managed to take some shots at Jetburgh..this is Cathedral in Jetburgh... first town after Scottish border..

Day 2: Saturday 29 Dec 2007

On the way to National Museum of Scotland, Ediburgh. Our trip was guided with Jo and Fairuz. A million thanks to both of them. After taken some yummy breakfast at Jo's House, we started our tour...Thanks Jo for such a wonderfull trip...and also to Fairuz, our adhoc photographer...hehehehe! our camera bateri kong lar...haiya!!

kenapa??? x percaya aaa...?? hardcover animal encyclopedia 240 pages full colour & glossy paper...kalo kat mesia tuh..beratus2 hinggit!! besh tul!!

Wah...everybody is talking about Boxing Day!! Yup..no doubt all store offered a 'gila2' reduction up to 95%!! siauuuu...giler betul!! I've caught 1 store at Meadowhall which offered 95% of selected items...i tought it's just a funny label..but...i made a stepped in and bought a Le Coq Sportif backpack at GBP 1.99!!Actual price was GBP 19.99! hahahahha! Well...i'm on my way home after work at Meadowhall....so, what an oppurtonity to grabs on!

After that, we joined a trip to East Midland Designer Outlet, Mansfield guided by Abg. Zahuri lah!! timasih jadik tom tom kitorang..hehehehhe! Its not really a planned program but we really enjoyed and we get what we're looking all this while!! Finally we found Iman's winter suit at a very discounted price!! A reduction from GBP49.99 to GBP 8.75!! apa lagi...grab lar...memang berbaloi!! There a lot of Designer Outlet like Mark&Spencer,Next, Clarks and many2 more!! Berpinau2 bijik mata because its really a good bargain! Well...kalo segunung duit pun x cukup kalo nak enjoy shopping!! After some shopping made, we went home....puas hati dgn apa yg dilaburkan...!!

Boxing Day!! Wednesday 26 Dec 2007

This is the time to go shopping!! It's called 'Boxing Day' maybe because.... people are boxing to grab 'evil'ly discounted price stuff!! Just joking....hahahahaha!Actually,it' s a day where everybody opened their Christmas gift....that'what my friend told me!



Oh... I deeply remembered my officemate in Yamaha Music Kelana Jaya. I'll never missed to joined our owned Boxing Day! We will roll off a paper with all the staff name and we pick 1 name blindly! And, we cannot tell anybody who will get our present...its a surprise!!! Then, we will put our present silently at the Christmas tree...(actually , just on the table designated as a Christmas tree..hahahahahha!) Then, write the receiver name and everybody will start guessing who give that present...syok tau!! I still remember I got a bathroom mug from Paula in year 2004, I got a paper weight from Charles Tan year 2005...emm..and the most I remembered..in year 2006..I got a brooch and green scarf from Poh Liew ...our General Manager...oh!!! i really miss that moment!!

Merry Christmas to all !!

We're not going anywhere today....just rest and relax at home... I cooked Mee Jawa in the morning and I sent to a few closest neighbour here...felt like a Santa Clause sending a present! hahahaha!

We had a lepak2 visit in the evening...it's Abg Rizal and family!! He had some discussion with my huby and I lepak with Kak Rozie! I cooked a simple Nasik Ayam for our dinner..and everybody..eat, eat and eat!!! We enjoyed eating rojak buah- just nenas and timun actually!! thanks to Kak Aida who gave me such an "Ummphh" rojak sauce that day!! homemade tu!! fuh...terangkat...ilang rindu kat rojak buah kat mesia!!

What a Busy Weekend....!Sunday 23 Dec 2007

It's Sunday again!! Time goes very fast!! This Sunday we managed to go Oldcoates,Nottinghamshire carboot sales. Emm...its very cold and frosty but we need to find another stroller for Iman. There just a few carbooters opened their stuff!!



This is some sort of preparation for him to go school next year..hehehehehe actually for his mum goodsake too!! His old one is pretty small for him now...look...just imagine how big he is now! We found what we need in just a minutes....it a good brand stroller bargain up to GBP 28!! Complete set with all the accessories...! We are so happy and we drove back happily!! la la la la!



After that, we stop at Morrison's to buy some groceries..gosh!! what a heavily traffic at the counter..the white people are buying for Christmas!! We 'yellow people' also sibuk2 lah Q sama..hahahahha! we took about an hour to pay 'seekor ikan salmon berharga GBP 6.75'!! and there goes the effect...our trolley getting fully loaded because i'm busy hunting for other things while waiting on Q!! my boss geleng kepala da!!...hehehehehe!



And finally, we made to get home!! It's so tiring eventhough I'm not doing anything! We had an invitation from Abg Rizal & Kak Rozie housewarming and Aidiladha treat but we cannot make it!

I felt very dizzy and my voice is loosing! serak2 basah gituh! Winter sickness kot!! hehehehhe! After some relaxation, we went to Zakiah's house..hehehehhe! Actually..we had 2 invitations in time! Murah rezeki tuh! She cooked a delicious Mee Kari Udang...yum yum! Kenyang sampai malam..hehehhehe! And...Mi Kari yg we all ordered dr rumah kak rozie pun sampai!! Siap ada pasembor lagi...mmg murah rezeki betul!! hehehehehhe...my kitchen will not 'berasap' tomorrow..hahahahaha!

Sambutan Hari Raya Korban - Sheffield Malay Network (SMN) at Pakistani Muslim Centre (PMC)Saturday, 22 Dec 2007

We had a Gotong royong masak2 for kenduri Hari Raya Korban celebration at PMC. This year they sacrified 6 sheeps for korban. Alhamdulillah...May Allah accept & meredhai this ibadah. Anyway...this is the first time I went for a gathering at PMC. We had a great gathering and usrah by Ustaz from Birmingham. Sorry ustaz...i'm not really remember your name lah!

After usrah, we had a delicious yummy2 food cooked by our chef. Sorry again...senarai nama2 chef pun x tau saper!! I just help up prepared a 'Jelatah'- nenas & carrot. hehehehhehe! Jadilah...here some photo taken by my huby...and as usual, my face wasn't there...dia x shoot pun muka aku!!! sedih...hehehehehhe

Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Adha pada semua...

This is the 1st raya that I celebrate in UK... nothng much to say, I just can't stop thinking of home!

wuaaa!!!! Make wish to my family...and, abah picked up the phone!Things that he seldom do at home..dia x suka angkat telepon! Alhamdulillah...He sound well..just recovered from many2 sickness...bed lying for almost 4-5 months!

Not to be drowned with my own feeling, I cooked plenty of hari raya dishes....saja lepas geram dan xnak ingat sgt diri ni jauhhhhh....!! ada nasi impit, kuah lodeh,sambal kacang,rendang ayam & sambal sotong....and, kuih lapis red bean..this is my 1st time cooking for hari raya...selalunyer balik rumah mak atau mertua...dah siap masak..hehehehhe! so, as a first timer...there's a lot of missing taste here and there!! lauk di perantauan....anyway, family enjoyed eating...eh yeke enjoy ??? ye lah kot...hikhikhik

x pegi mana2 pun...babah ada kelas sampai petang...balik pun lewat dan sambung keje dgn abg rizal lagi...tetamu hari raya kami...! welkam...welkamm! and,thanks to Abg Taib and Zakiah for inviting...tp, x dan nak pegi....ampooonn...!!

Iman gi Playcentre - Darnall 18 Dec 2007

emmm... its an idea when I see Iman are out of control!! He need space!

Living in UK is not as what you thought! It should be enjoyable ...but not at this winter! Kids are craving for space..they can't play outside as the temp is so cold! How do I help Iman for this? I bring him to Playcentre...pay for it and let him play.. He spend almost 3 hours there! How about me? enjoyed?? yes..of course..mak dia pun main panjat2 sekali..xde org masa tu....ada 3 family ajer....
