Makan2 at Estikutum - Darnall 16 Dec 2007

Today, babah wish to 'belanja' umi makan for celebrating belated anniversary!! He asked me what food I wish to eat? I said Tomyam spontaneously..!! mana nak carik Tomyam?

Then, I remembered 1 place when I browsing in Aishah/Fadli fotopages..Estikutum.. Thought of trying their foood...Its stated Indian,Chinese and Thai cuisine..and, they have Tomyam!! but, the tom yam taste like air asam...well, telan je lah!!

anyway, thanks babah for such a wonderful dinner..its a buffet dinner but I can't eat much..maybe 'perut da masuk angin' da tunggu kedai ni bukak kul 5 ptg....lapor naga siol!!

How do we get there??

Its not a planned program...my Huby promised to bring iman to Eureka - Sheffield Children Museums. But, we ended up here...We're in a wrong place!! Its not Eureka!! We thought of going off but the moment we stepped in, we felt that this place is very welcoming!! and, there's a lot of story & animal replika's inside there...Out of curiosity, we enjoyed the visit...

As for us, i tried to baked a cake again!! gosh..i guess i will taking off forever from doing any baking!! just glance into some ideas and i decided to bake cheese cake...we are cheese lover and i hope it worth it..

as for me..the cake taste a bit bitter...i can't figure it's come from where...might be a mocca powder that i add in the cake base or from the glaze mix orange jelly on top... emmmm..whatever!! its done....Alhamdulillah!

It was frosty -1 celcius but I am very eager to walk rather than driving! I found it very difficult to park a car during this christmas season in Meadowhall!! All parking lot are blocked and all workers with cars need to park their car at overspilled coach park which is I considered far and not worth it at all to park there!

emm...I had a very nice walking trip every early morning..although its freezing but i enjoyed it! I started walked at 6.30 am and reached Meadowhall at 6.50!! 2 ways of 20 mins walked just enough for my exercise..hehehehehehe! my life change...i never choose to walk back at M'sia...

I walked alone from Monday to Wednesday.....I got my partner on Thursday!! I received called from Zakiah on Wednesday night..she's working at Next till end of this month...at least I had a walking partner now!!

Iman's 3rd Birthday Party at home - 10th Dec 2007

As planned, finally we managed a very simple party for Iman's birthday. There's a million reason to have this party...but 1st and foremost, we want him to enjoyed himself with friends! he was grounded for more than a month because of the weather!...We just invited close friends in Tinsley neighbourhood. Iman's enjoyed himself.Thanks for everyone who make this party a such memorable events...

Menu on that day was all kind kid foods...hehehehehe such as bihun sup with bergedil, southern fried chicken and fries,some pudings and cakes. A million thanks to kak rozie who contributed a very decorative cupcakes (nasib baik lah ada cake backup!!..kihkihkhi), to kak pah who brought tiramisu cake...yummy!!, kak aida with her Malaysian Prawn cracker and Kak Asmah with her bandung agar2 ...thanks a lot!! You all help up to add up the menu..hehehehhehe! Thank you so much to everyone..oh ya...thanks for the birthday gift from Muizz&Rania, Uncle Zahuri & family...and Danish Auntie Zakiah!!! Susah2 ajer...org ajak dtg makan dgn amik gambar ajer sbnrnyer....

And, as usually what a birthday had...a cakes!!...i bake a readymade sponge cake for iman's birthday cake...choc top and whipped cream . Although it's not good as what it should be, but I keep smiling because...at least I do it myself!!! first time you!!! and yup, before i forget..the theme for the cake was 'The Construction"...got cement truck pouring a cement on a construction site...kihkihkihk!! to clarify why it's so messy...hahhhhahaaa!

Iman's trip to Knowsley Safari Park - 8th Dec 2007

As for 1 of Iman's birthday present, we decided joining a trip to Knowsley Safari Park, Liverpool. This trip was guided by Tareq and family and finally we reached there after 2 hours journey..Its a quite bored and normal trip because of spray and fog! It's rainy and gloomy all the way,we're not enjoying the trip scenery.It was expected tp sebab degil..nak pegi jugak!! But, we met something new...snow flying with rains around somewhere on the way!!

Knowsley Safari Park is an open driving range safari. It's took about 40 mins to complete the whole circle. Even its raining but the animal still sporting...(ade ker animal sporting!) esp. the baboon!! hehehehhehe...here some pic to be viewed...

1 week in memories

huh...i'm taking off more than a week from writing in this blog...some kind of buzy and lazy..!! yeag...i guess the 2nd words suit me a lot..!!


There's a lot of things in my mind...Iman's trip to Safari, Iman's besday party and my 4th anniversary!! and, not to forget my trip 'jalan kaki' to work!! I wanna jot it here but i stuck with some other errands that I also can't explained!! yg betulnyer...malas!! . What I have is just a memories and some photo to be remembered. Oh what a wasted! I'm trying my best to fit everything here...

Laptop kapuuttt!!

aiseh...its very heart broken when uninvited spy came across my computer!

My laptop just get back from major operation done by our dear fren,Fadly (thanx a lot! u deserved a treat from us!! tunggu yer!!)when it attacked by the' unsangkarable' virus!! spyware!! it happen when i surf some info about my breadmaker... (beli xde manual!)

So,i should remind to all my dear fren...once a pop up come up about a sexy chick ...just get rid from it! I just made 1 silly mistake that I click 1 simple question to 'yes' and all gone! and remember to turned on ur firewall! I am very upset because most of my photos gone...lucky, some of it still can be viewed in my blog...and, still in my digital camera!!

See!!

Iman's enjoyed eating my very own baked cakes!! I named the first cake - 2 layered cake as "The Disaster" because...reason no 1) the sponge cake was too soft and fluffy 2) I guess it should be a choc fudge cake but...the choc fudge doesn't fudge on it!! Its very hard for me to covered the whole cake with choc fudge topping..what an amatur cake baker!! hehehehehhe! its better than nothing rite??!! it end up 'undecorated' and we just 'makan' for our good sake ..jgn membazir!..hehehehehe!

The actual and ad-hoc birthday cake is just a layered of sponge cake covered with a ready mix icing!! but the big '3' tu.....(tgk betul2!!) that was my very owned idea ok...nice kannnn?!

Happy Birthday to Iman Zahin!!

He is 3!!

Today is 4th Dec 2007!! It's mean Iman's turn up 3 today.. I can't believed that he's growing very fast and become a big boy! I still can feel he's turning in my womb and now he's laughing and jumping in front of my eyes..

For my dear prince Iman...ummi wish that u will be a very good boy to us and family. Make us proud and always obey. Hold to ur name...Iman:(meaning) beriman and Zahin: sahabat yg cerdik. Aminn...

And, for this year...he will start schooling at Tinsley Infant School starting on 10th January 2008! We had a visit by the school teacher and confirmed registration..what a surprise!! Things that never happen back at M'sia! (I guess!)

As a proud mum, I tried to baked a cake for him. After all, I managed to baked a very simple cake for him ! What a surprised! I break into tears when he enjoyed eating it! As for that day, I baked 2 sponge cake.. the 1st cake was a disaster when the decoration turned up horror! I hated it and cut the cake into small pieces...well, the taste is not bad but...its ugly..believed me!

Again.. I baked an adhoc cake. A very single plain sponge cake and I decorated it with an icing ! I found this icing decoration from 1 of the instant Muffin Mixed box that I bought from Asda...its better than nothing!! Finally, Iman's blow his candles....let's see his ad-hoc cakes...

Kak Rozie nak pindahhh...

Semalam aku terima jengukan kak rozie...

Dia kata besok dia dah nak pindah...aku dah tau tp mlm tadi aku mcm terasa sesuatu...apa dia nih?!

'Tiada lagi org akan mengintai bila aku beli cekelet utk iman kat kedai depan itteww...!'

Tetiba aku terasa sentimental plak, saat kemesraan baru terjalin..tidak akan ada erti lagi memandang sekilas rumah mu tatkala lalu kekedai....wuaaa!! walaupun selama ni aku lebih memandang bumbung rumah mu dr memberi salam, ttp jauh disudut hati ada kelegaan & kegembiraan bila tau didalam rumah itu ada kak rozie sekeluarga ....aiseh..jiwang la pulak!!

Anyway, happy moving to Kak Rozie & family...take care. Semoga selesalah hendaknyer disana didlm menghadapi kehidupan seharian..mcm syok je tempat tu kan!! (gua dah sekodeng la rumah lu..ahaks!!) kalo ada ala2 house warming ke apa...jgn lupo den tau!! ahakss!

Jgn lupa selalu posting blog utk kengkawan kat sini esp. kak pah...kesian dia..selalu ada depan mata...betul x kak pahh???! den pahammm...

aku published wish ni sbb xnak la nanti dia ungkit aku x wish kannn...so, Selamat Hari Jadi yg ke tuuuttttttt..... semoga panjang umur, murah rezeki!!

dah abis tgk2, aku singgah Whoolworths..sebelah tu ajer..xde menda tp, sangkut gak dgn snow cap iman sebijik...sbb..aku dah ter'menghilang'kan snow cap dia kat Meadowhall aritu..hehehehhe! komen 'boss' aku.."snowcap budak tu susah nak dpt tu...aritu pun susah nak carik..." aku pun buat la muka toya...sah salah aku kannn!!

Balik dr Morrisons aku dah salah jln da...aku ingat dah masuk hiway..tp xtau lah aku masuk mana ke apa...aku suka buat2 sesat nih!! hehehehehe (cover!!) aku siap masuk kat Manor Park, masuk kat City, lalu kat Kebabish...sampai aku pun x tau lar...aku follow je lah signage yg x brp aku sure..yg pasti aku kena dptkan signage Rotherham atau Meadowhall...fuh!! lega aku bila nampak serombong Tinsley ...sampai gak aku kat rumah...dey!!! apa da sesatttt!!

Ingat masa tu nak sambung jelajah kat Rotherham New Town...nasib baik x gi sbb parking kat tesco tu bleh 2 jam ajer da....

aiseh...tanpa aku sedar dah 4 hari aku x buat posting kat blog aku nih..inilah namanya angin kus2 dah dtg!!! kalo rajin..rajin sgt..kalo malas, tersangat lah malassss...

disamping otak yg x boleh pikir coz body 'breakdown' sekejap, aku ada benda baru yg besh jugak layannn....aku tgk tv. hehehhehe! syoktv jer...terubat rindu aku kat citer2 melayu...walaupun kdg2 tranmission dia hampeh...tp, aku nekad jugak subscribe syoktv...boring ma!! iman asyik tgk channel cbeebies dia, sampai aku naik hafal lagu2 dlm tu..tu blom subscribe skytv lg..(ada hati!!) drpd aku berebut, xpelah...sayang anak tgn2kan, syg tv..aku subscribe syoktv!! hehehehehe! en huby aku lak baru psg wifi reuter, aku pun bwk la kehulu kehilir laptop ni sambil tgk tv, br meriah sikit hidup aku kat rumah nih!! heheehhehehe!

sebenarnya 'boss' aku xde kat rumah nih...dia pegi Poland ada group visit dgn coursemate dia. dia pegi dr hari selasa sampai hari sabtu nih. Masa dia pegi tu aku x sempat pun peluk cium muah2 kat dia, aku flat mkn ubat...hampeh tul...timasih pada abg rizal sbb hantar dia pegi rumah kwn dia mlm selasa tuh..!! sampai pulang kunci keta pun letak kat postbox pintu je ye bang...sorry yer...mmg x perasan langsung! hehehhehehe!

Mlm tu plak, Iman pulak batuk2.ubat batuk dah bg...kaki dah bubuh vicks...tp,bunyik dah lain macam jer...pagi tu, aku pun memandai lar pg chemist kat highgate mintak ubat chesty cough.dia bg sekali nasal drop. mentang2 lah ubat utk iman free yer...laju jer..hehehhehe! mlm tu dia tidur lena...mak dia pun lena sekaliii...alhamdulillah!

bila 'boss' xde ni...aku mula lah cadang2 nak wat lebih bnyk lg eksperimen kat dapur...esp. baking cake...ye lah..kalo x jadik, dia x tau!! kihkihkih! ration duit poket pun agak mewah...aku pun zasss la hari rabu tuh pegi ke Tesco Rotherham beli brg2 buat kek...macam2 ader....hepi giler sbb boleh belek puas2!! selalu boss ader, kena jeling2 je dulu...tanda dulu mana nak beli..kihkihkih!kena balik pun sbb iman bising x bwk botol susu...hish!! kacau tul!!

mlm tu aku pun try lar wat chocolate cheese cake...hasilnyer..hampeh!!apa yg silap pun aku x tau..kek tu mcm x masak jer... semenjak 2 menjak dan bertujuh menjak ni, asal aku try wat apa2 mesti out! bengang gak!! aku siap pikir, aku ni mmg xde jodoh dlm arena pembuatan kek ker??? aku rasa dah mintak izin dah kat laki aku nak wat eksperimen buat kek nih...cuma dia blom bising lagi lah aku dok perabih telor kat rumah ni...kahkahkah!! nasib baik la bhn2 nak buat kek ni x mahal sgt mcm kat mesia...kalo x..aku dah surrender dah...tp, wat masa ni aku nak 'cuti' & kasik rehat sama itu mixer...kedai bakery aku tutup utk sementara...nak buat upacara pulih semangat dulu...alahaiii..teruk benor bunyik nyer yer...

oh ya..antara bhn ujikaji aku yg masuk dlm 'tong'....1) kek cheddar cheese 2) caramel puding kek dan latest 3) chocolate cheese cake....hasil2 post mortem kejadian akan aku repot dlm almari resepi aku...wassalam.

Aduss...sudah ku tahan2 bdn spy jgn sakit...at last, demam jugak...

Al maklumlh...bdn species berdarah panas duduk kat tempat sejuk mcm nih...asal malam je mencecah 0 darjah! Dan dgn bangganyer jugak mlm minggu tuh kitorang kuar..konon teringin nak makan luarr!! masa tu pun br kl 5.30. konon layan dinner lah tu. Destinasi makan2 kami ialah kedai Arab "Kebabish" kat Sheffield City. Iman sibuk nak pegi McDonald...mana boleh nakkk!! So, kitorang bwk la mkn kat kedai yg ala2 menu ni cam kat store McDonald..haiya!!

Malam tu mmg sejuk, aku lak cuba pakai bj 2 lapis jer...ingat bj tu dah cukup tebal...tp rupanyer aku tewas...menggigill!!

Sekarang ni mata aku tgh kuyu...sekuyu2nyer....ini namanya 'demam' ikut turn...

Eksperimen terbaru...

Bahan ujikaji aku yg terbaru ni ialah berkenaan dgn cheese...cream cheese tu kalo diputar2..masuk bahan tu bahan nih...rupanyer boleh jadik cheese kek!! aku sukaaaa sgt cheese kek...dan inilah cheese kek sulung aku..aku x penah buat sendiri kek sebenarnyer..rasa nak makan kek jer aku gi Secret Recipe..beli seketull..cukuplah utk memuaskan nafsu sendiri...senang je nak buat rupanyer tp senang lagi makan...hehehehehe!

Jalan2 cari makan...

balik dr beli groceries kat Asda aritu..huby beli "donner kebab" dgn "tikka chicken" kat Darnall. Tapau ajer sbb aku malas nak masakk...hehehehe! chef mintak cuti masuk dapur.. aku saja nak citer pasal 2 mknn ni sebabnyer....inilah makanan 1st yg aku mkn masa aku sampai kat Heathrow aritu...masa huby dtg amik tu dia bwk bekal donner kebab..kihkihkih! tp, masa tu dah sejuk kejung dan masin lah sgt rasa!! fav. laki aku tuh!! hari2 mkn masa buka bulan pose tuh...Dah bnyk kali jugak aku mkn tp rasa nak makan lagi...sedappp!! 1 box tu diorang jual 1 pound ajer...bnyk giler!! kalo mkn bnyk tu x kenyang2 jugak...tak tau lah aku!!




"Donner kebab" tu hirisan daging kambing yg dihiris memanjang..kat mesia rasanyer mcm x penah jumpa.. yg 'tikka chicken' tu plak dia lebih kurang ayam tandoori kita tp dia dah siap potong kecik2..Dua2 pun dia serve dgn salad & fries...sos pudina & sos cili .....
